With over 10 years of making logos, album covers, websites, apps, and beer cans, the rad folks at TCW came to us for a rebrand. Not just one logo, but a collection of custom, sticker-friendly, letters and wordmarks that evoke the studio’s agile and adaptable approach to design and branding.
The Collected Works is a boutique studio with big agency results, and has been a longtime friend. Just in time for its 10 year anniversary party, we created a logo system and suite of monograms that move and adapt exactly like the studio would. Based on an identity system that is purely typographical, the default logo has the ability to move and change direction in order to rise to the occasion, while the rest of the toolkit showcases a sampling of styles and aesthetics the studio can tap into for its many clients. It was amazing to see the vision come together on cans of beer for the aforementioned party, a sign that our creative collaboration was an accurate representation of this creative company.
