To promote Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 Ultra powered by Galaxy AI phone, Samsung wanted to create an uniquely immersive escape room experience at the Yorkdale Shopping Center in Canada.
The Winchester Conundrum is an eight-player experience where guests use the new phone and Google’s Circle to Search feature to solve Winchester’s riddles and beat the game. Inside the room, they encounter the living portrait of the late heiress, Winifred Willoughby Winchester, who challenges them to unravel the mystery of her final will. Voiced and controlled live by a backstage performer, Winifred interacts with guests in real time — guiding, teasing, and pushing them toward the solution. We designed the brand and marketing for the event, drawing inspiration from classic mystery novels and films while finding moments to highlight Google's circle to Search feature.
